The Northern Combine supports equal opportunities for women to participate and race in events.  This is achieved through the efforts of the Women's Coordinator and each club's commitment, as well as the Combine committee as a whole.  We welcome your thoughts and assistance on how this can be improved.  Please contact your club representative or Women's Coordinator.

Women's Series 2021

bigger and better than before!

We want to encourage more women to race the Combine, and as an incentive we are  running a points-based award series, rewarding both results and participation. For the first time the series encompasses ALL grades and ALL races on the calendar! The riders with the top 3 accumulated points at the end of the season will win prizes (actual prizes are to be determined).

Here is how it works:

start a race = 1 point, plus...

Top 5 placing for race with women's only grades (Autumn Cycling Classic, SKCC and HCC Trophy races) = 10/8/6/4/2 points for 1st-5th place respectively (double points!)

Top 5 for every other race (all other scratch races, all 4 handicaps, each stage of 3DT, ITT champs) = 5/4/3/2/1 points for 1st-5th place respectively

Top 3 on aggregate points at end of last race = series winners
